Facebook Messenger is Meta’s messaging service through which customers write to a Facebook page. Armiflow connects Messenger as a channel in ArmiChat, the omnichannel inbox in the communication feature: you select your Meta pages, the history is imported, and your team replies from the inbox. For customer messages, approval by Meta is still pending.
Approval pending
Many customers simply write to a business via its Facebook page. In everyday work, these messages often get lost because they sit in a separate inbox on Facebook. ArmiChat brings them into the same inbox as WhatsApp, Instagram Direct, Telegram and SMS.
The current status: before Armiflow may process Messenger messages for customer accounts, Meta reviews the app. This review has not yet been completed. Technically, the connection is finished and already runs within our own company. Until approval is granted, you answer Messenger messages on Facebook as before. The app shows when you can use the channel.
As soon as approval is granted, your team works with the same views as for all channels: open, assigned to me, unassigned, snoozed, done. With “As task”, a message becomes a to-do with an AI summary and a link back. This turns a question on Facebook into an organised case with clear responsibility.
Messenger messages contain personal data, so the rules of the GDPR (EUR-Lex) apply. Meta is a separate provider with its own terms. Inform people about the use of Messenger in your privacy policy.

When connecting, you select your Meta pages and accounts. Agencies or businesses with several locations can bundle several pages in ArmiChat this way. With labels and assignments, you keep track of which message belongs to which page. The app shows how many pages you can connect.
No. The social media autopilot publishes posts, stories and reels on your Facebook page. The Facebook Messenger integration concerns the messages customers write to your page. Both can use the same page but are set up separately: one for content, the other for conversations.
ArmiChat offers an AI reply suggestion based on the conversation. You read the suggestion, adjust it and send it yourself, so the decision stays with a person. This saves time with recurring questions, for example about opening hours or offers. Always check details on prices and dates before you reply.
ArmiChat describes bulk messages for WhatsApp templates, with a STOP list and daily limit. This is not described for Messenger. Meta also has its own rules on when and how pages may send messages. Use Messenger mainly to answer enquiries, not for advertising to large mailing lists.
Information about Armiflow’s plans is on the pricing page. The details can change; you will find current figures there. The app shows whether the Facebook Messenger integration is included in your plan. Please note that approval by Meta for customer messages is still pending.

Ideally the people who also handle other customer enquiries, such as customer service or marketing. With roles, you determine who sees which areas. Assignments show clearly who is responsible. This way, the reply no longer comes from whoever happened to open the Facebook app, but from the right person.
Check who in your business is an administrator of the Facebook page and whether this person is available. Clarify who in the team will answer Messenger messages in future. Update your privacy policy. Then you can set up the Facebook Messenger integration without delay once approval is granted.
Avoid long waiting times, because customers expect quick replies in Messenger. Do not reply on Facebook and in ArmiChat at the same time, so that no duplicate messages arise. And do not give page rights to the personal accounts of former employees; check the page roles regularly.
