EPS bank transferPayments+EPS bank transfer is an Austrian method in which clients confirm a payment in their bank’s online banking. With the EPS integration, Armiflow offers EPS as a payment method for invoices in the Invoicing & dunning feature, via a payment provider such as Stripe or Klarna. Whether EPS is available depends on the payment methods enabled in your account with the provider.
Benefits
Invoices from Armiflow are checked under § 11 of the Austrian VAT Act (RIS), as required for businesses in Austria. With EPS, your client pays them in the online banking of their own bank, using the credentials they already use there.
Many clients in Austria prefer to pay by bank transfer rather than by card. A classic bank transfer has drawbacks, though: IBAN and payment reference are copied by hand, typos happen, and the payment sometimes sits for days. With EPS, recipient and amount are prepared, and the client only confirms at their bank. That suits an Armiflow account with a focus on Austria.
Behind EPS is a payment provider such as Stripe or Klarna, with which you hold your own account. There you enable EPS as a payment method and manage fees and payouts. Armiflow links the invoice to this provider and shows you the status. You can see the exact scope in the app during setup.
