What is the Google Authenticator integration?

Google Authenticator is a smartphone app that generates time-limited one-time codes for two-factor sign-in. With the Google Authenticator integration, Armiflow supports this app for two-factor sign-in: after the first sign-in step, you confirm the login with a code from your phone. This protects your Armiflow account, and optionally your customers’ access to the client portal, even if a password falls into the wrong hands.

Benefits

What the Google Authenticator integration does for your security

Armiflow holds customer data, quotes, invoices and contracts. A stolen password alone shouldn’t be enough to get at this data. Two-factor sign-in therefore asks for a second proof that only you have: your phone.

  • Two-factor sign-in with codes from Google Authenticator
  • Protection for your Armiflow account and your team’s accounts
  • Optional in the client portal, in addition to the magic link
  • Together with roles, encrypted credentials and daily backups

Two-factor sign-in is especially important for teams. The more people work with Armiflow, the more accounts there are to protect. With Google Authenticator, each person gets their own second factor on their own phone. With roles and custom roles, you also decide who may see and change which areas.

Your customers benefit too: in the client portal they sign in via magic link and can optionally use two-factor sign-in. That gives invoices and contracts better protection. Effective access controls are also part of the technical measures the GDPR (EUR-Lex) requires to protect personal data.
